For those that love the Ocean!
Colours of the sea vinyl disc beads with a sterling silver charm with blue and white enamel waves rolling in.
Looks great on it's own or layered up with your other necklaces.
This necklace is made with pastel coloured vinyl disc beads in blues, greens, white and peach with a touch of bright yellow. A small sterling silver charm (around the size of a 5pence) with a blue and white enamel wave design sits in the centre with sterling silver beads either side of it. Finished with a lobster clasp, easy to take on and off.
I love working with vinyl disc beads. They maybe tiny and fiddly and I need to take breaks when working with them, but with the multi colour designs that I create, I love the fact that no two pieces will be the same as I don't follow a colour pattern, meaning you will always have your own unique piece (as you can see from one of the pictures showing three necklaces together, they are all different).
Hailing from the villages of West Africa, these brightly coloured discs are modelled after traditional Ghanaian Coconut Beads. Also known as African Vulcanite beads because they were originally made from vulcanized rubber, now they are more commonly made from using recycled phono records cut up in a sequin-like fashion.
The necklace is approximately 42 centimetres long with a 2 inch silver plated extension chain, taking the full length to approximately 47 centimetres.
The size of the sterling silver charm is: height 11.5mm x width 9.5mm
